This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in an operational role in civil construction, who undertake a prescribed range of tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental knowledge, in a defined context working under supervision.
This course is delivered as an on-the-job traineeship customised to the workplace over a 12-month period. It is an entry level program into the civil construction sector. Additional training options may include a school based apprenticeship (SBAT) or full-time course delivered as a pathway into civil construction, local government and other blue collar industries as an apprenticeship.
