Demonstrating Cutting-Edge Leak Detection Technology in Central NSW

We are excited to share some highlights from our latest leak detection demonstration (NWPNET036) conducted by our exceptional Water Industry Trainer, Tony, for the Central NSW Joint Organisation.

Spotlight on the Latest Technology

In this session, we were privileged to have Charlie Kitchenham, the Area Manager for Cadia Group, join us. Charlie provided an in-depth overview of the advanced leak detection technology we utilized. This state-of-the-art electro-acoustic equipment features a range of innovative tools, including:

  • Ground Microphone: Perfect for detecting leakages with pinpoint accuracy.
  • Sensor Rod: Ideal for reaching deeper areas and hard-to-access spots.
  • Tracer Gas Sensor: Enhances the detection process, especially in challenging environments.

All these components are integrated with Bluetooth technology, offering unparalleled portability and ease of use. This system can detect even the lowest leakage frequencies and performs efficiently on paved surfaces.

Commitment to Innovation

The demonstration underscored the significant advancements in water network operations and our unwavering commitment to innovation in the field. Our cutting-edge tools and techniques are designed to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely leak detection, ultimately contributing to better water management and conservation efforts.
