This course supports participants in maintaining and operating a chainsaw. This training is suitable for those required to use chainsaws for cutting operations in various environments and applies to forestry, landscaping, and emergency response roles.
Participants will learn how to assist in preparation of the work-site, recognise and apply workplace safety procedures, check and prepare the chainsaw for use, operate the chainsaw, and complete and check chainsaw operation.
Upon successful completion of this training, you will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the following unit of competency:
