About the Certificate IV in Demolition

This qualification is designed to meet the needs of project engineers, project managers, demolition supervisors and leading hands responsible for the oversight of a team of demolition workers undertaking specialist demolition work on large public, commercial, industrial or residential buildings, structures and installations, including chemical processing plants.
Experienced demolition practitioners are encouraged to apply for this course to gain the formal qualifications needed for demolition supervisor roles and to gain a demolition license.
Work with industry leaders who will guide you into improving your workplace systems and practices as part of your training. Take your industry skills and knowledge to the next level by completing this qualification, along with the required skill set for the Demolition licence application.
Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCWHS1001 covers this requirement.
This course is delivered via an on-the-job traineeship customized to the workplace, or a face-to-face full qualification
